Christmas Crew Bundle Card Ideas: 3 Fun Christmas Cards to Inspire You
If you love adding a little personality to your Christmas cards, the Christmas Crew Bundle is such a fun one to create with.
With a cheerful bear, snowman and reindeer, plus signs you can customise with different greetings, there are plenty of possibilities for creating playful Christmas cards. And with coordinating dies, you can easily cut out the characters and layer them into different scenes.
For this week’s This Week I’m Creating With… series, I created three very different cards using the Christmas Crew Bundle — starting with a simple design, adding a few more layers for the second, and then bringing the whole Christmas crew together for the final card.
Meet the Christmas Crew Bundle
The Christmas Crew Bundle combines the Christmas Crew Stamp Set with coordinating dies, giving you lots of little elements you can mix, match and layer.

The Christmas Crew Bundle includes:
- A bear, snowman and reindeer
- Blank signs that can be customised with different sentiments
- Christmas greetings including Happy, Merry and Christmas
- Fun sentiments such as Here for the Cheer, Fa La La and Ho Ho Ho and Sending Holly Jolly Wishes
- Candy canes, a Santa hat and other small details
The coordinating dies make it easy to cut out the characters and accessories, while also giving you extra elements such as Christmas trees that can be used to build your background.
What I particularly like about this bundle is that you don’t have to use every element at once. You can keep your card really simple with one character or combine several pieces to create a complete Christmas scene.

Card 1: Merry Christmas Reindeer Card

For the first card, I kept things nice and simple with the reindeer as the star of the design.
I used a soft pink background with a coordinating striped panel running down the left-hand side. The reindeer was coloured and die cut before being layered over two green Christmas trees.
The Merry Christmas greeting is incorporated right into the character, which means you don’t need to find somewhere else on the card for a sentiment.
A few iridescent sequins add just enough sparkle without taking attention away from the reindeer.
Try This
When you’re working with a detailed stamped image, you don’t necessarily need a complicated card layout.
Start with:
one character + one background detail + one simple embellishment
It’s an easy formula to remember when you’re not quite sure where to begin.
Card 2: Here for the Cheer Snowman Card

For the second project, I wanted to play with layers, colour and texture.
The snowman is positioned over overlapping panels of blue, pink and a textured neutral cardstock. Instead of lining everything up perfectly, I placed the layers at slightly different angles.
That small change gives the card movement without requiring a complicated technique.
The blue panel also has a subtle tone-on-tone dotted background, adding another layer of interest while still allowing the snowman to remain the focal point.
And I couldn’t resist using Here for the Cheer on his sign. It’s such a fun Christmas sentiment!
Beginner Tip
If layered cards sometimes feel overwhelming, don’t think about adding lots of embellishments.
Instead, try creating interest with different textures, colours and angles.
Three simple pieces of cardstock can completely change the look of your card when you overlap them rather than stacking them evenly.
Card 3: Happy Merry Christmas Crew Card

For the final card, I wanted to see what happened when the whole Christmas Crew arrived!
The bear, snowman and reindeer each hold part of the greeting:
Happy. Merry. Christmas.
I added die-cut Christmas trees behind the characters to create a little woodland scene, with the candy canes tucked behind the snowman for an extra pop of pink.
The soft blue background has subtle tone-on-tone dots across the upper section, which helps fill the space without competing with all those characters.
I finished the card with a few iridescent sequins for a little Christmas sparkle.
There are definitely more elements on this card than the first two, but they’re all built from the same simple pieces.
And that’s exactly what I love about creating three projects with one bundle.
One Bundle, Three Different Christmas Cards
One of the easiest ways to build your creative confidence is to stop thinking that every new card needs a completely new idea.
Instead, take one stamp set or bundle and ask:
What else could I do with this?
This week we went from one reindeer, to a layered snowman design, to a complete Christmas scene featuring all three characters.
Three cards.
One bundle.
Three completely different looks.
And there are still plenty of combinations we haven’t tried yet.
Which Christmas Crew character is your favourite — the bear, snowman or reindeer?
